Technology Commercialization Specialist- Saudi Aramco Projects
Zahraa Alhashem is a Technology Commercialization Specialist at RPDC. She holds a graduate degree in Bioscience from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), and another graduate degree in Public Administration from the University of Michigan. During her time at KAUST, Zahraa worked at the Red Sea Research Center on culturing marine bacteria , with a specific interest in SAR11 nitrogen fixers, and proteorhodopsins. Her MPA from the University of Michigan has been an added value to her background in the sciences, where she developed crucial strategic planning skills, and was a recipient of several scholarships.
Zahraa is interested in combining her skills in science and technology, along with her skills and experiences in strategic planning and project management, to bridge the gap between the lab and the market. Her goal is to introduce life-changing technologies to the Kingdom, and eventually to the globe. Zahraa joined RPDC in 2018, where she’ll be working on market assessments, and technology commercialization, specifically on technical projects with Saudi Aramco.
